The mutant biscuit must weigh all of three tons so must be carfully place onto a specially designed trolley on tungsten steel tracks to be transported to the biscuit testing sheds in Oldham. There they are subjected to pounding by steel hammers and explosives to test their strength and durabilty. NASA has expressed interest in them for the new protective shields surrounding the Space Shuttle and Lambeth council has put in a bid for 3,000 new "sewage plugs".
